You might have noticed the increase in Sponsor logos on the BIL website. I thought it might be helpful to describe how each sponsor is helping BIL be a success.

  • Singularity Institute - They are covering the cost of the facility for both Saturday and Sunday.
  • Qtask and The Creative Space - These two sponsors are responsible for the free shirts at BIL. The Creative Space designed the shirts (see design here), and Qtask covered the cost of printing 100 of them. If 100 isn’t enough, we’ll have a signup sheet where people can order a shirt, and with enough interest we’ll print a second round of shirts.
  • Fast Company TV - Robert Scoble from Fast Company TV will be filming all the talks at BIL and making them available online.
  • Joyent - They will be providing free food at BIL and free drinks at the after party. As of now, we think the after party will be at Crown and Anchor, but that could change.
  • Meraki - They are providing 2 outdoor and 1 indoor wireless extenders.
