Call For Entries Is Now Closed Thank you to all artists who submitted their work to the exhibition this year. We received an overwhelming number of submissions and will notify all artists who are accepted into the show as soon as possible. Until then, we ask that you do not contact us regarding whether or not your work was accepted.
Entry Deadline: All proposals must be received by February 17th, 2013. Applicants will receive notification of their acceptance by email shortly after. For accepted submissions, all materials must be received at BIL’s headquarters in Long Beach by 5pm on February 27th, 2013.
Fee: There is no fee for entering. We encourage emerging artists and artists of all mediums to apply.
About the Juror: Mirabelle Jones is a writer, performance and visual artist based in California and Berlin, Germany. She has held residencies at Foundry Nights, KALA Arts Institute and ABCO Art Space and presented at the College Book Arts Association and Academy of Art University. Her works have appeared in exhibitions throughout the United States, including Maker Fair & the Codame Art & Tech Festival. She is delighted to be given the opportunity to share fantastic works of art with the BIL community.

Artists are responsible for the two-way shipping, matting, framing and other preparations of the artwork for display excluding installation & labels prior to the date of the conference. No commission will be taken by BIL for any items sold, but all sales must be negotiated between the artist and client directly.
