BIL:Davos 2017

Online
January 17th, 2017  - January 20th, 2017

Our first global online event

We’re hosting our first live online event in conjunction with the World Economic Forum. We are excited about what this platform opens the community up to. This is the first time we’ll have a no-borders BIL. We’re excited and look forward to you participating with us.

BIL Davos was originally planned to be in the city of Davos-Klosters, Switzerland. This was a highly restrictive location for many reasons, so we’re excited about being able to do this event online instead. We will be able to have more speakers on a wider range of topics. The themes list is below.

The themes: Shaping the future of…

  • Consumption
  • Digital Economy and Society
  • Economic Growth and Social Inclusion
  • Education, Gender and Work
  • Energy
  • Environment and Natural Resource Security
  • Financial and Monetary Systems
  • Food Security and Agriculture
  • Health and Healthcare
  • Information and Entertainment
  • International Trade and Investment
  • Long-Term Investing, Infrastructure and Development
  • Future of Mobility
  • Future of Production

How this will work

We’ll be using YouTube Live and a few other services to do our talks, presentations, discussions and panels. The event is 100% free, but we ask that you register with the button on this page so that we can send you a schedule when it’s ready.

Speakers will be sent instructions on how to get setup for this event when they register here on speaker sign up form

The nice thing is, we’re no longer restricted to just the people who can attend in person, but now can open the event to everyone around the world. We will not have a single person on the ground in Davos.

When

The event will start at 0000GMT January 17th and go through 0000GMT January 21. This will allow talks to go on in every timezone around the world.
