Are you interested in Footing the BIL?

There are things more important than money, we’re here to build a community. However, there ain’t no such thing as a free lunch, and money enables us to do things that we can’t do for free.

What we’ll be doing with donations…
Rent the venue
Get event insurance
Rent useful things like PA systems, chairs, tables, et cetera
Build the website
It costs about $10,000 to run BIL, all of which comes from donations.

Donations go to the Singularity Institute, a 501(c)(3) organization co-sponsoring BIL, and thus are eligible for tax-deduction.
