Biography
Jamshid "Jimmy" Delshad is the Goodwill Ambassador and was twice elected Mayor of the City of Beverly Hills and has served on the City Council for 8 years; he is the highest ranked public official of Iranian ancestry in America. His story was featured on the front page of the Wall Street Journal and was covered by print and electronic media worldwide. He started a technology company in 1978. In 1990 he became the first Persian Jew to be elected as president of Sinai Temple, Los Angeles' oldest and largest Conservative congregation. In 2003 he was elected to the Beverly Hills city council, and became mayor in 2007.
He also serves as the Vice Chairman and Managing Director of Pacific Capital Group (PCG), an investment group based in Beverly Hills. The firm successfully raises and provides capital, strategic direction, management development and financing for companies in a broad range of industry sectors.
