Mr. Chaganti V.K. Maithreya is now the Director of Professional Consultancy Services and an HR Adviser to the Danish Industrialisation Fund for Developing Countries [IFU]. His consultancy experience has been in Organisation Development and HRD, besides carrying out top management selection assignments in India, Europe and the Middle East.
He has been on the selection panels for the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta and the Confederation of Indian Industry. He has trained for the corporate and NGO sectors and has been a faculty member on the Queen’s project for training the Tamilnadu State Police Officers and has also trained Government Doctors. He has facilitated HR seminars for the CII and the national Times Ascent HR Forum organised by the Times Group.
Education: He holds a bachelor’s degree in English language & literature from the University of Madras, a post-graduate qualification in Personnel Management, Industrial Relations & Labour Welfare from the prestigious X.L.R.I., Jamshedpur and a Diploma in Training and Development from the Indian Society for Training & Development.
As a speaker: He has been a speaker at various Indian and international fora. He has addressed various NGOs, clubs, educational institutions, student & youth groups and has been a visiting faculty member at business schools.
As a writer: He has been a Marketing Adviser & Editorial Coordinator for the International Times Reports on Denmark in The Economic Times. He also contributes to other magazines on various subjects, particularly comparative religion & philosophy.
As a Theosophist: He is a fifth generation member of The Theosophical Society & is actively involved in its work. He is the President of both the Madras Theosophical Federation & The Theosophical Order of Service, Chennai Region, which is at present involved in a variety of social service projects including relief for tsunami affected persons and free medical service for needy patients. He is a Member of the Indian Section Council of The Theosophical Society, the National Committee of the Theosophical Order of Service, India and the National Council of the International Order of the Round Table, India. Besides, he has also been on the International Senior Council and Chief for India of The International Order of The Round Table.
