Max Song

Max Song is a data scientist, entrepreneur and community builder.

Growing up, he was blessed with a set of challenging childhood experiences

that opened his eyes to the power of grit and the growth mindset. He started ThisIsGrit with

Rafiki and Omoju after winning first place at the Datapalooza hosted at Stanford University by the Department of Ed, to create a library of extraordinary videos of dedication and perseverance to serve as

inspiration for others. Outside of ThisIsGrit, he has worked at a bunch of data science companies,

cofounded a co-op house in Palo Alto and co-wrote the Data Science Handbook.
