Michael Laine has been working for 13 years on building something that most people consider science fiction: an Elevator to Space. And even though, at this moment, Earth’s Space Elevator is impossible, there are steps we can take - now - that will move us in the right direction - the Lunar Space Elevator Infrastructure . We can do research, make strategic and tactical investments; we can communicate and develop outreach and education programs. We can do this, today. It will make a difference. “There is a profound difference between ‘difficult’, ‘very very hard’, and ‘impossible’.” - Michael Laine If there is time/demand at BIL I’ll chat about: 1) Building our Lunar Space Elevator Infrastructure, 2) Civilization Shifting Technologies, 3) You, too, can build your own damn Elevator - or anything else you want!
