Civilizations have come and perished throughout history. Now that we’ve developed into one globally connected civilization, a catastrophic event would no longer affect an isolated pocket, but might bring all of humanity into darker ages. We’re facing self-made perils as well as natural ones. I want to go over ideas related to long-term thinking. (Note: JB is a World Economic Forum council member)
