The world keeps getting warmer and warmer. While the causes and course of action needed to stop it is still being debated on the political stage, most scientists are comfortable with the explanation that the primary cause if from anthropogenic greenhouse gas emission. Other sources of energy are available, including solar, wind, geothermal, and nuclear. When it comes to nuclear, many people cringe. The scary legacy of Chernobyl and Fukushima, has pushed nations and public opinion away from nuclear power. This talk will put all options on the playing field and look at the physics of where our energy might come from in the next century and beyond.
