Maybe you are a woman. Maybe you love women. Maybe you hate women. Maybe you work with women. Maybe you have, or one day will have, a daughter. Women make up 52% of the population, and yet for the last 5 years, hold only 20% of all technology positions in the work force. In order to create technologies that serve the society as a whole, we need more women in technology. In this session you will learn 10 ways to be an ally for women in technology. Learn simple ways to support women in the workplace and the community - in the office, at conferences, and online. Become more confident in speaking up to support women and be more aware of the challenges facing women.
