Against the backdrop of the Ediacaran fauna expansion and collapse, characterized by unusual never-again-to-be-seen species, Linda will discuss today’s energy economy and especially the roles being played by the BRICSA nations. Illuminating the issues of abundance and exploitation of natural resources, the closure of electrical infrastructure gaps, and the impacts of both on economic development, she will issue a call to action for partners and allies in her work to shape sustainable clean energy business models.
At BIL2009, Jessica Richman provided a compelling introduction to the BRIC (Brazil, Russia, India and China) group of nations. Two years later, amid changes in trade and investment focus of group members, a new member has been added: South Africa.
